Who We Are
Chef Alex Friedman and Keiran Neely are proud to present
P’cheen: International Bistro & Pub.
The storefront at the corner of Highland Avenue and Sampson Street has been transformed into a restaurant with intriguing worldly appeal. International urban legend meets contemporary new school courage.
A wood finished interior with aged light fixtures becomes a place where rustic charm meets modern service, preparation and design. A spot weary workers and upbeat scenesters could find themselves intertwined sipping on fine ales and quality affordable wines discussing the way of the world in a warm and inviting setting where nightfall brings shadow-steeped, candle lit dining.
P’cheen boasts a menu that reflects its theme. Cross-bred recipes that are intercontintal hybrids-the true sense of fusion brought to a completely reasonable level made available to most budgets. The original sense of bar food is thrown out the window and replaced with recipes taken to the next level using a cunning synthesis of imaginative culinary ideas that are not just exciting to think about but are both stimulating and delicious-well worthy of a repeat experience.
Think paella, think curry, think jerk and think chipotle-you’re almost there.
Warm and inviting, memorable and affordable are all words that describe our new place. Our concept is steeped in tradition and rinsed with modernity; a place that will become not just a neighborhood staple, but will grow to be known citywide.
